Spending Profiles of visitors to US Army Corps of Engineers Recreation Projects

Spending was measured via exit interviews and mailback surveys in 1989/1990. Several sets of spending profiles are assembled from these data:

Recreation Visitors to Sites Along the Upper Mississippi River System A comparable survey at recreation sites along the Mississippi River from St. Louis to St. Paul included 1,316 on site interviews and 683 mailback trip spending surveys. Trip and durable goods spending profiles are reported for several boating, angling and sightseeing segments .
